[Description] This drug is of off-white to pale yellow powder with an unusual odor.
[Pharmacological Action] Azamethiphos is an organophosphate insecticide primarily functioning as a stomach poison with additional contact killing effects. It can eliminate adult insects such as flies, cockroaches, ants, and some other pest species with residual effect lasts for over 10 weeks. In addition, due to the constant licking behavior of these adult insects, drugs that act through stomach poisoning are more effective. With a broad insecticidal spectrum, it is suitable for public health pest control and managing mosquitoes and flies in grasslands, pastures, and farms, especially effective against flies and cockroaches.
After ingestion, azamethiphos is almost entirely absorbed by animals, but the vast majority is excreted through feces and urine.
[Function and Use] Insecticide, for controlling insects such as flies in animal barns.
[Dosage and Administration] Application: Mix 50g of this drug with 200g of sugar and an appropriate amount of warm water to form a paste. Apply at 30 points per 200m2.
[Adverse Reaction] No adverse reactions have been observed with the proper use of the recommended dosage and administration.
[Precautions] (1) Contact with skin and mucous membranes should be avoided during use.
(2) Care should be taken to prevent contamination of rivers, ponds, and sewers with this drug and its waste.
(3) It should be kept away from children and animals.
(4) The use of this drug is prohibited near bee hives.
(5) Emergency aid. For inhalation poisoning: move to a fresh air environment; for skin contact or eye splashes, rinse immediately with plenty of water; for accidental ingestion, drink large amounts of water and administer activated charcoal.
(6) The diluted solution should be used up within the same day. After a suspension has been left standing for 30 minutes, it should be re-mixed thoroughly before use.
