[Main Ingredients] Lincomycin hydrochloride

[Description] This drug is of white or off-white powder.

[Pharmacological Action] Lincosamide antibiotic. Lincomycin belongs to lincomycin, which is effective against Gram-positive bacteria, such as Staphylococcus, Hemolytic streptococcus, and Streptococcus pneumoniae, and has inhibitory effect on anaerobic bacteria, such as Clostridium tetanus and Bacillus perfringens. Its effect on mycoplasma is weak. It also has a certain effect on Treponema suis and Toxoplasma gondii. Gram-negative aerobic bacteria are usually insensitive. The bioavailability of oral administration in pigs was 20%-50%. Some of the drug is metabolized in the liver, and both the original drug and its metabolites are excreted via bile, urine, and milk.

[Function and Use] Lincosamide antibiotic, for the treatment of infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria in pigs and chickens, such as swine dysentery, chicken necrotizing enteritis, etc., and for the treatment of mycoplasma infection in pigs and chickens.

[Dosage and Administration] On the basis of this drug. Mixed drinking: 0.8-1.4g per 1L of water for pigs, administered for 7 consecutive days; 3g per 1L of water for chickens, administered for 5-10 consecutive days.

[Adverse Reaction] This drug has neuromuscular blocking effect.

[Precautions] (1) This drug cannot be used for laying hens during the laying period.

(2) This drug is prohibited for animals allergic to this drug or infected with Candida.

[Withdrawal Period] 5 days for pigs and chickens.
