[Description] This drug is of yellow powder.

[Pharmacological Action] Tetracycline antibiotic. This drug exhibits strong activity against Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus, hemolytic Streptococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Clostridium tetani, and Clostridium spores. It is also relatively sensitive to Gram-negative bacteria like Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Brucella, and Pasteurella. However, its antibacterial action is stronger than that of tetracycline and oxytetracycline. Oral administration in chickens results in incomplete absorption and low bioavailability. Clinically, it is primarily used for the prevention and treatment of chronic respiratory disease and Escherichia coli infections in chickens.

[Function and Use] Antibiotic drug, for infections caused by sensitive strains of Escherichia coli and mycoplasma in chickens.

[Dosage and Administration] On the basis of this drug. Mixed drinking: 1-2g per 1L of water for chickens.

[Adverse Reaction] Long-term use can cause gastrointestinal flora disorder.

[Precautions] (1) This drug cannot be used for laying hens during the laying period.

(2) This drug is inappropriate to be used together with penicillin drugs, or with fodders or drugs containing calcium salts, iron salts, and multivalent metal ions, or sodium bicarbonate; co-administration with potent diuretics may increase renal damage.

(3) It is inappropriate to be mixed with chlorinated tap water or alkaline solutions.
