[Main Ingredients] Eprinomectin
[Description] This drug is of colorless to faint yellow transparent oily liquid, slightly viscous.
[Pharmacological Action] Pharmacodynamics: Eprinomectin is a macrolide pesticide for both internal and external use. Its anti-parasite spectrum is similar to that of ivermectin. If injected subcutaneously, this drug has a 95% killing rate for the adults and larvae of most common nematodes. This drug has a stronger killing effect on Cooperia, Oesophagostomum radiatum and T. colubriformis Giles compared with ivermectin and a 100% killing effect on the larvae of Hypoderma bovis and a relatively strong killing effect on cattle ticks.
Pharmacokinetics: After a herd of dairy cattle is injected with this drug at its neck (0.2 mg/kg), the peaking time is 28.2 hours and the peak blood concentration is 87.5 ng/ml with an elimination half life of 35.7 hours.
[Drug Interaction] It can be used with Diethylcarbamazine simultaneously and there is a possibility of severe or fatal encephalopathy.
[Function and Use] Macrolide antiparasitic agent, mainly used to kill entozoic parasites in cattle such as gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms and epizoic parasites such as ticks, mites, lice, Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma lineatum, etc.
[Dosage and Administration] Subcutaneous injection: 0.2 ml/time per 10kg of body weight for cattle.
[Adverse Reaction] No adverse reactions have been observed with the proper use of the recommended dosage and administration.
[Precautions] (1) This drug can only be injected subcutaneously instead of intramuscularly or intravenously.
(2) It is prohibited for collie.
(3) It is highly toxic to shrimps, fish and aquatic organisms and packages with residual drugs should be prevented from contaminating water sources.
(4) Operators may not have food or smoke when using this drug and should wash their hands after the operation.
(5) It should be kept away from children.
[Withdrawal Period] 1 day; 1 day for dairy cattle in the weaning period.
