[Main Ingredients] Sulfamonomethoxine sodium, trimethoprim
[Description] This drug is of colorless to faint yellow transparent liquid.
[Pharmacological Action] Sulfonamide antibacterial. Sulfamonomethoxine inhibits bacterial proliferation by blocking folic acid synthesis and exhibits strong inhibitory effects against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. When used in combination with trimethoprim, it enhances the antibacterial efficacy.
[Function and Use] Sulfonamide antibacterial, for the treatment of respiratory tract, digestive tract, and urinary tract infections caused by sensitive bacteria in pigs, as well as for the treatment of Toxoplasmosis in pigs.
[Dosage and Administration] Intramuscular injection: 0.2 ml/time per 1kg of body weight for pigs, administered once a day for 3 consecutive days.
[Adverse Reactions] Long-term or high-dose use can lead to symptoms of sulfonamide poisoning, affect weight gain, and may result in sulfonamide intoxication.
[Precautions] Long-term use can damage the kidneys; it is recommended to co-administer an equal amount of sodium bicarbonate.
[Withdrawal Period] 28 days.
